Ula moved from our home in early May to another host family and eventually left for Poland and home on July 8th.

In February she tore the ACL ligament in her right knee and had to have surgery.

She didn't want to slow down even on crutches.

Here we are at the ice palace in Saranac Lake.

Ula couldn't find a prom dress in our area so her mother mailed this dress from Poland.
Along with jewelry, perfumes and shoes.
Her date is Will

Although she was on crutches she really wanted to be in the school play.  She was able to lock her brace and be an Indian in Peter Pan

Ula celebrated her 17th birthday with us and the Rotary on April 4.
Sue made a Deutchhound in stoneware for Ula.

After Ula moved we still invited her over from time to time.  Once for the fourth of July so that she could be in the Jay Parade.  She got to meet Corrine who got home from Czech in June.

Here's Ula saying goodbye to Bobtcha.

She was a wonderful young lady we were so pleased to get to know.

We will always be in touch.
