The Wild Center in Tupper Lake
is a brand new museum where the wild world of the Adirondacks is displayed in many nice exhibits.
There is a Panorama Theater that holds 160 seats and can be used for special screenings.  Inside the theater is a wonderful slide show of Carl Heilman photographs

The museum building is landscaped with a wonderful made pond that is higher than the floor of the building so that inside you look at over the surface of the pond  Here Sue is about to walk across a wonderfully Adirondack constructed bridge that goes over a section of the pond.

Sue views a display about the Pitcher plant  A Wild Center guide talks about a black snake
Informative displays for children and adults A small section is set aside as a specimen and lab area.

On the left a Mother and Daughter are enjoying watching an otter, there are many tanks of water that hold native Adirondack fish.
