Bright and early the first morning, Corrine and Emily took off for Times Square and Rockefeller Center, Sue and I walked through Central Park on our way to the Met. As we were lingering in Strawberry Fields our cell rang and it was Doug over in Queens. We wanted to get together with Dave, Lettie and Doug at some point and Doug was giving us the schedule and then he said to call Lettie and that she had a surprise for us. Everyone in the theater had a drum
on their seat and the cast was great in having the audience participate
in the evening. DRUMSTRUCK is twelve powerful drummers and dancers
from South Africa. |

We walked along Fifth Avenue taking in the sights. |

Emily wanted to horse back ride in
Central Park, so we found the stable on west 90th almost two blocks west
of Central Park. Emily had to ride through the streets to get into
the park. |

One night we went into the seething
core of the big apple, Times Square. We also went to China town and the Bronx Zoo as well as visited with friends in Queens. |
