Avalanche Lake   Adirondack Park

I probably ought to hike other places once in awhile.  But I keep getting called back to Avalanche Lake
and the broken pass.  As long as I get these calls I guess I will be returning.

The trail takes you by Marcy Dam.  Colden and Avalanche Pass are on the left.

I can never resist shooting a nice group of tree fungus.
