What's New for Autumn 2008

Emily has a horse, and her name is Corolla, a thoroughbred and a very nice horse.  They have been practicing jumping and playing polo together.

Sue has started a new business for just her pendants which have become very popular.  There is a website for her current collection at:  Ceramic-Pendants.com .  The website will be for wholesale orders only.

Terry finished a new drawing, the beginning work in a new series of pencil drawings.  This one is titled, "Meditating Before the Great Expanse of Silence".

This is the view from Coon Mountain in Westport.  On the right is the backside of the Jay Range, Hurricane and then the high peaks, Lake Champlain and Vermont's Green Mountains.  Easy hike of one mile.

We've discovered a new market in Montreal, Jean Talon Market off of Jean Talon and St Laurant.  A woman in the gallery told me that this market was where the Montreal natives went to market and that the Atwater Market was for tourists.  It's true that this market has much more Montreal flavor, we like them both.  Jean Talon Market is larger, more places to eat and is also in Little Italy, which has lots of interesting shops and restaurants.

We have a new favorite place to visit and shop in Montreal, "The Paper Place".  It has a wonderful selection of Japanese and handmade papers.  I've replenished my stock and many of my new books already have paper from this shop.  When it came to paper I've always wanted a place to be able to see and feel the paper instead of just viewing it online.  Also right around the corner is a famous bagel shop.

Above are four new "Towers of Inspiration" drying.
On the right is "Satsquash" , Sue made the sign because he's hooked two customers.  There he is laying in wait.
